Last night, if you were standing on Bree Street, looking up, you would have seen a collection of gorgeous tattooed, pierced, fashion forward Cape Townians playing mini golf between pieces of tattoo-inspired art on the rooftop at Bree Street Studios.
There was wine, there was art, there was a beautiful sunset and there was the excitement surrounding the week of tattoo glory that is the Cape Tattoo Expo.
This whole week, there will be various tattoo expo events happening around town, surrounding Friday's opening of the Expo at the BMW Pavilion at the V&A Waterfront. Some of the world's best artists will be at the expo, showing off their portfolios, putting amazing ink into people's skin and sharing the art of tattooing with the Cape Townian public.

The Expo is open from 5pm-10pm followed by the first of the Tattoo Expo concerts. Hold Fast at the Harley Davidson Club with Wolftown, The Great Apes, Them Tornadoes providing the live music until late, with DJ Spider on the decks until the early hours.
