We were super lucky and got to taste Chabivin's new range of MCC's that will only be available next month. The bottles weren't even labelled yet and we were the first people outside of the farm to taste these new wines and we all felt very special.
Cathy was amazing as usual and explained everything really nicely and now I know pretty much exactly how to make MCC and I can probably make my own from home. Jokes. It's super complicated and a really loooong process which completely explains why it is not cheap.
We also got to taste their Guy Charbaut French Champagne.
After the bubbles we also tasted two sweet wines: Paul Cluver's Noble Late Harvest and Allesverloren's Fine Old Vintage. A wine can never be too sweet for me, so I thoroughly enjoyed these two. All in all, it was a great evening once again, filled with learning, drinking and Cathy's great personality.
