Every single morning, I wake up with some or other song stuck on repeat in my brain. Well, less "song", more "chorus". And more often that not, its a song (chorus) that I hate. I never understand how it gets into my brain in the first place; I'll be watching Dexter one night and wake up with the song evil Ursula sings in The Little Mermaid the next morning.
"Those poor unfortunate sooouuuls" (This actually happened)
How can this phenomenon be explained? Does my brain go back into its music memory files in my sleep and find something it thinks will be funny to wake me up with? Brain scientist people out there, please explain this to me.
I've decided that on the mornings that I remember, I'm going to post the song I woke up to, so we can all have it stuck in our brains together. This morning I woke up to this:
It took me by surprise when I found out this was Civil Twilight. I had assumed it was U2. Who I hate.
