Last winter I did two ABC Bootcamps and I really, really
enjoyed them. I lost about 5 kilos and I could feel myself getting stronger and
fitter every day. ABC Bootcamp, along with Schick are hosting the Schick
Adventure Bootcamp Challenge and I think I might just enter.
What better motivation is there to get fit and lose weight
than the prospect of winning your share of R100k in prizes?
The Challenge is all about putting yourself first. Focusing
on your wellbeing and fitness, and creating an all encompassing change in your
lifestyle.
Cape Town ladies can enter the Challenge, and then be
selected as one of the three women who will be competing in this 3 month
challenge. The Challenge takes place between May and September
and selected contestants will learn how to achieve long-term holistic
lifestyle change, gain a better understanding of health and wellness and share
in prizes valued at over R100 000.
Last year’s winner, Tanya Ellis from Durbanville,
lost an incredible 5.3% body fat, a total of 70.5cm and 12.3 kilograms during
the Challenge. Since then she’s lost another 7kg’s and completely changed her
lifestyle. From her diet to her fitness, most importantly, her self-esteem, but
also her career. She’s now studying to become a personal trainer, so that she
can help other women to reach their fitness goals.
Prizes for this year’s challenge include: Three consecutive boot camps,
bi-weekly consultations with Dietician, Kim Hofmann, and Life Coach, Megan
Galloway, a goal mapping workshop with The Fairy Godmother; Garmin Fitness
devices, Schick workout kits, clothing from Zadah Designer Wear, hair, skin and
beauty treatments and lots of other stuff too.
The grand prize will be awarded to the contestant who shows the most
holistic lifestyle change and the prize includes a R20 000 Schick Spa Weekend
Escape, a photo shoot with Elton Willenburgh, a Women’s Health subscription, a
year’s supply of Triaction sports bras, a year’s membership to ABC, a GSG flat
iron as well as a second weekend away courtesy of The Protea Colloseum Hotel.
Complete the entry form here before
the 20th of April and join The Challenge Facebook Page on to
stay informed. You can also visit the Schick website on for
