What Should We Call Social Media?

I work in Social Media. Yes, it is a real job. No, I don't have time to explain Pinterest to you (but no, it's not just "glorified scrapbooking"). Yes, I write Facebook posts and Tweets all day.

People don't understand jobs in Social Media yet. It's a relatively new industry and would you believe there are still some people who aren't even on Facebook (???).

As wonderful and shiny as the internet is and as much as I love it, it can sometimes drive me CRAZY! Slow connection, Facebook down, Tweetdeck bugs, bit.ly launching a new format, Blogger not loading pictures...

This site makes those days more bareable. If I can be patient enough to wait for it to load. It's pretty much the most awesome Gif site on the whole wide internet. It's like a website, that makes little pictures of my thoughts and feelings.

WHEN PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK KEEP FALLING FOR FREE IPAD GIVEAWAYS
AND THEREFORE BLOW UP YOUR INBOX WITH SPAM

WHEN I SEE A FRIEND POST A GRAMMATICAL ERROR ON FACEBOOK,
BUT DON’T WANT TO BE A DOUCHE AND CALL THEM OUT ON IT.

WHEN I WRITE POSTS COMPLETELY ON THE FLY
