Good News From Mermaid Land

I've had a bit of blogger's block recently which has meant a lack of posts and more than a few "what do I even blog about?" moments. But I woke up this morning feeling ready and excited to get stuck back into Tails Of A Mermaid. I've got tons of stuff to tell you about including my amazing weekend with Appletiser and the gurls, my new skincare range and its amazing results, an update on Assembly Radio...and then obviously the features like Cooking Lessons For Boys & Wellness Wednesday.

For now though, I have a bit of good news to share. I was recently featured as one of Xcellent Media's Top 10 Female Bloggers in SA. I am extremely honoured to be mentioned between big name bloggers like Hurricane Vanessa and Kim Gray and I can't actually believe my little blog made it onto the list. Personally, I think a few key blogs like CTG, Open Wardrobe, Being Brazen, Kiss, Blush & Tell and Lucky Pony should have been on that list too (but then the list would have to be called "Top 15 Female Bloggers in SA).

Then, I almost fell off my chair when I got word from Cosmo that I'd been chosen as one of their 2012 Twitter Queens. Very excited to be featured in the glossy mag. The story will be in their September issue so if you can find a copy that my mom hasn't bought, read all about it.

Another cool bit of news is that after my post on Things To Do In Cape Town In Winter, Cape Town Travel has asked me to write a guest post for their website on all my favourite things to do in this beautiful city over the winter months.
