My first QMS facial was done by the incredibly knowledgeable Anel, who took me through every product as she applied it, and explained exactly how it was working to enhance my skin. It's Obviously quite difficult for me to explain, so I suggest going for a QMS facial at one of Future This's affiliate spa's.
I've been struggling a lot with my skin for about the past six months, breaking up with my long-time skincare range and trying a few others on and off, but nothing really gave me results. My main problems are dehydrated skin -which causes dry patches in some areas and oily patches in others and a lack of real change in my skin. I want to be able to see my skin improving, not just watch it not get worse.
Anel explained that when your skin is dehydrated, it overcompensates by over producing oil (sebum) which leads to congestion . She explained how the QMS products she was using on me penetrate deep into your skin (up to 15% deeper than most other products) helping it to regenerate from within.
By the age of 25, your skin starts producing less collagen and stops around the age of 35! Collagen makes up for about 60% of your skin and is responsible for the skin’s moisturizing processes. It is what gives tone and firmness and it plays an important role in normal skin functioning. QMS collagens penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin where they actively regenerate the skin and do not have a superficial, short term effect on the skin surface.
I have been using the MED Set for the past three weeks and I can honestly say I have never seen such results in my skin. As soon as my facial was over, I could already see a visible difference in the texture and "glow" of my skin. Now, when I wake up in the morning, my skin doesn't look dull and "thirsty" like it used to, it looks dewy and firm.
Combined with the MED Set I also use the Deep Cleansing Lotion, Freshening Tonic (toner) and 24 Cream (Moisturizer) .

My favourite product in the range in Dermabrasive Gel. I have always been a big fan of exfoliating prodcuts, but I can see how using a daily exfoliant can become harsh on your skin. The gel goes on smooth and gently dissolves your dead skin cells without stripping or damaging the skin.
If you are looking for a skincare range that is going to give you real results, improve your skin and stay with you for years to come, I definitely suggest QMS. I can't see myself using another range any time soon.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, buying any range all in one go is a massive expense. I spoke to Anel and asked her "if there were two products that a girl could buy to start off with, what would they be?" She suggested the Deep Cleansing Lotion and 24 Hour Cream (total R1 160)(depending on your skin type, obviously). From there you can build your range every month with one or two more products.
DeleteIt really is worth it. Previously, I was spending around the same amount on products and they didn't do half of what this range has done for my skin.
