Durbanville Season of Sauvignon in Pictures

A couple of weeks ago Nash, Cederdog and I were lucky enough to spend the day sipping sauvignon and helicoptering from farm to farm at the Durbanville Season of Sauvignon wine festival.

First sauv of the day: Durbanville Hills

The weather was gorgeous and although there was a bit of a chill in the air, the sky was blue and there was no wind which made all my sleepless nights totally worth it. Nothing like Mother Nature to ruin a perfectly good helicopter opportunity.

The whole day was so much fun and I honestly felt like less-ladylike Kate Middleton, climbing out of my helicopter and stooping down to escape the blades as I made my way from one farm to the next, tasting wines and enjoying the amazing views. Such an awesome experience.

  3. How awesome. I'm desperate to take my son in a heli - neither of us have been!
