We're Going To Bangkok!

In just 66 more sleeps Nash & I will be boarding a big old plane and stopping over in two countries before we finally land in Bangkok, Thailand. We're spending 18 days travelling around Thailand over the holidays and our first little adventure starts right in the heart of the bright lights and sprawling markets of Bangkok.

Have you ever been more excited? Me neither. I've been clicking and clicking and clicking for a while now, looking for the perfect hotel for us to rest our weary heads in when we arrive and I've finally found the one. I've booked us in for two nights at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel.

The price is right, the hotel is centrally located, has a pool and incredible views of the city.

"Strategically located in the heart of downtown Bangkok, the 88-storey Baiyoke Sky Hotel is Thailand's tallest building. The hotel is convenient to the largest fashion square in downtown Bangkok, and close to shopping centers and entertainment, with Central World, Gaysorn Plaza and the Peninsula within walking distance. The business center at Baiyoke Sky Hotel features the full range of modern equipment and around-the-clock professional assistance. The airport-rail link to Suvarnabhumi Airport can be connected to at nearby Rajprarop Station, 150 meters away – a hotel shuttle bus makes the trip every hour. The shuttle also transports guests to Chatujak weekend market (JJ market) and to Suvarnabhumi Airport."

Just 66 more sleeeeeps!

  1. Bangkok is amazing. The transport is also really cheap, even for private taxis.
